Twitter reacts to Giants’ selection of wide receiver Darius Slayton

With their second of their two picks in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the New York Giants selected Auburn wide receiver Darius Slayton.

Slayton will join a wide receiver group that includes Sterling Shepard, Golden Tate, Corey Coleman and Cody Latimer.

Odell Beckham Jr. was, of course, traded earlier in the offseason to the Cleveland Browns.

If you notice the theme of the reaction from the fans, it’s the speed aspect of Slayton’s game. Speed kills, and clearly, he has it, especially with his 4.39 40-yard dash time.
