Twitter reacts to Giants’ selection of linebacker Ryan Connelly

With their first of two picks in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the New York Giants selected inside linebacker Ryan Connelly from the University of Wisconsin.

In the Giants and James Bettcher’s 3-4 defense, Connelly will get the chance to compete for playing time, especially as a run-stopper on a defense that struggled heavily in the 2018 season.

Connelly will also get the chance to compete for a spot on the Giants special teams as well.
