Twitter reacts to Giants’ selection of cornerback Corey Ballentine

With their only pick in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the New York Giants selected Washburn University defensive back Corey Ballentine.

Ballentine is the third defensive back selected in this draft by the Giants and the second one they took on the third day of the draft, having previously landed Deandre Baker in the first round and Julian Love in the fourth round.

Heading into the draft, the Giants’ depth at the cornerback position was very thin. With three defensive back picks later, and the Giants have definitely addressed the position.
