Twitter reacts to Giants’ selection of Cam Brown

With their sixth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the New York Giants addressed yet another position of need when they selected Cam Brown, an outside linebacker out of Penn State.

Brown is the sixth addition the Giants have selected in this year’s draft so far. Brown is the third defensive player for the Giants, while the other three have all been offensive linemen.

Cam Brown plays fast, with a lot of athleticism, but is a bit raw. Was a strong leader on the Nittany Lions’ defense. His versatility being able to play inside linebacker or off the edge is likely something that drew the #Giants to take him here. #PennState

Had the Patriots not traded up to pick ahead of the Giants the pick could have looked a little different:

The Patriots just traded up to 182, right in front of the Giants, and took Michigan G Michael Onwenu.

That's the second time today a team traded up one spot ahead of the Giants to take a guard (and a guard I'm pretty sure they liked).
