Twitter reacts to Giants drafting Oshane Ximines in Round 3

The New York Giants finally found a new quarterback hound on Friday night, selecting Old Dominion edge rusher Oshane Ximines with the 95th pick in 2019 NFL Draft.

Ximines is the first player from Old Dominion to ever be selected in the draft.

That, of course, came up in the initial Twitter reaction, but it seemed secondary to fans and analysts struggling to spell his name. In fact, it wasn’t so easy to scrounge for quality tweets for that exact reason.

Okay a small school prospect but someone who has MAJOR potential as an edge rusher. I like this guys explosiveness ON FILM off the ball and a solid bull rusher. While not an off the charts edge rusher, look for him as a situational pass rusher. Oshane Ximines

Ximines was born in Queens but grew up in North Carolina. Lawrence and Jones also from North Carolina. Same for BJ Hill. Suddenly a hotbed for Giants.
