Twitter reacts to Falcons’ sloppy Week 2 loss to Buccaneers

The Falcons breathed life into a game that was nearly dead by scoring 15 points in the third quarter of their Week 2 matchup with the Buccaneers. Just when it looked as if this team was ready to pull off the upset, things went south in every way imaginable and a three-point deficit turned into a 23-point loss.

I won't push this anti-Matt Ryan stuff because truthful this isn't all on him however as he gets older + his contract + game results are gonna force the team to make a decision on him this off-season where an extension is the only option to retain him. W's make things easier.

The moment that changed the game for me? The shanked punt that put Tampa Bay on the ATL 43. There was a very sharp decline for Atlanta after that.

You can definitely win games with Matt Ryan but he’s looking a lot more like late-career Drew Brees this season. The arm looks as if it’s declined and he doesn’t have the confidence in it anymore. We’re seeing a lot of short throws but the OL makes it difficult
