Deiveson Figueiredo made sure he was winning the vacant flyweight title this time around when he beat Joseph Benavidez in the UFC on ESPN+ 30 headliner.
After scoring a knockout of Benavidez (28-7 MMA, 15-5 UFC) in February, Figueiredo (19-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC) was not awarded the title because he missed weight. They immediately ran it back, and this time the Brazilian won again with a first-round submission victory in the main event bout, which streamed on ESPN+ from Flash Forum at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
