Corey Anderson got the statement he was looking for when he defeated Johnny Walker at UFC 244.
Anderson (13-3 MMA, 10-3 UFC) has long been pushing for a light heavyweight title shot and may have got his wish when he delivered a sensational effort to earn a first-round TKO of Walker (17-4 MMA, 3-1 UFC) on Saturday’s card, which took place at Madison Square Garden in New York.
