Colby Covington seemingly solidified his welterweight title shot on Saturday when he defeated Robbie Lawler in the UFC on ESPN 5 headliner.
Covington (15-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) extended his winning streak to seven fights with a unanimous decision victory over Lawler (28-14 MMA, 13-8 UFC) in the main event matchup, which took place at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., and aired on ESPN.
