The Denver Broncos agreed to terms of a trade on Saturday that will send wide receiver Jerry Jeudy to the Cleveland Browns. The deal won’t become official until March 13, but the Browns have agreed to trade fifth- (No. 135) and sixth-round picks (No. 202) to the Broncos in exchange for Jeudy.

The Jerry Jeudy trade by the Browns, like the one for Amari Cooper 2 years ago, is the reason GMs like to stockpile seemingly innocuous picks in the later rounds. Never know when another team values those picks over an established player.

The Broncos are expected to have Marvin Mims fill the role that was formerly held by Jeudy in Sean Payton’s offense. Denver now has eight picks to use in the 2024 NFL draft.
