Twitter reacts to Broncos landing RB Theo Riddick

The Broncos are expected to sign former Lions running back Theo Riddick later this week, adding a third-down option to their already crowded backfield. Riddick will likely be used primarily as a receiver about of the backfield in Denver.

Broncos fans had mostly positive reactions to the news on Twitter.

So the Broncos already have Phillip Lindsay, Devontae Booker and Royce Freeman, but now they’re signing Theo Riddick? 🤔 Interesting.

Riddick has racked up 2,238 receiving yards and totaled 19 touchdowns since he entered the league in 2013.

Riddick will probably officially sign sometime after the Hall of Fame Game. Denver will take on the Atlanta Falcons in the first preseason game of 2019 on Thursday evening (6:00 p.m. MT on NBC).
