Twitter reacts to Broncos adjusting Chris Harris’ contract

The Denver Broncos adjusted cornerback Chris Harris’ contract on Tuesday, increasing his 2019 salary from $8.9 million to $12.05 million. He’s still set to become a free agent in 2020 but it’s good to know that he’ll be back with the team for at least 2019.

What's crazy: Chris Harris got the last CFA spot with the Broncos after the 2011 draft and then he got the last roster spot that September. He was on the list for the practice squad (no way he would have cleared waivers tho) before the Broncos decided otherwise.

Heck of a job by Chris Harris Jr. and his agent Frederick Lyles. CHJ had very little negotiating power, if any, in this and still came out with over $3M additionally.

Harris arrived at the team’s facility Tuesday and he is expected to participate in organized team activities this week.
