The Chicago Bears certainly made a splash with their first free agency acquisition of the 2020 season. The Bears agreed to terms with veteran tight end Jimmy Graham on a two-year deal worth $16 million, with $9 million in guaranteed money.
Bears general manager Ryan Pace made it clear that tight end is a priority this offseason. Chicago signed veteran tight end Demetrius Harris, who has experience in Matt Nagy’s offense, earlier this offseason.
While Graham was certainly a sought-after player during his prime, the same can’t be said after a rash of injuries and an aging career.
You could say Bears fans aren’t taking the news of Graham’s signing well. In fact, Jimmy Graham might want to steer clear of Twitter for the foreseeable future by some of the reaction.
Although, he does have a fan in NBA legend Dwayne Wade. Although Wade appears to be the only one happy with the Graham signing.
Well, at least Graham has Dwayne Wade in his corner.
