Following the Netflix hit 'Death to 2020' comes the latest version - 'Death to 2021' - and it did not disappoint.
Just when we thought 2020 couldn't get any crazier, 2021 stepped in and took the crown by a mile.
And doing what Netflix does best, they make fun of the whole year and everything that happened - from the death of Prince Philip to Harry and Meghan leaving the Royals as well as omicron cases soaring in the UK.
Describing the mockumentary, the Netflix website reads: "This darkly comedic retrospective mixes real news footage and scripted talking-head interviews as it sends up the year that tried to one-up 2020."
It stars the likes of Joe Keery, Hugh Grant, Lucy Liu, Tracey Ullman, Diane Morgan and William Jackson Harper - many of whom were featured in the 2020 version.
But whilst mentioning the key events of the past year, the narrator brought up COP26 which was held in Glasgow from October 31 until November 12 this year.
Introducing the climate change summit, the narrator said: "The much-anticipated COP26 climate conference opens in Glasgow, London."
And it wasn't long before people swarmed to social media to talk about it - and it could be a take on when CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer was roasted on Twitter for a COP26 gaffe as he swaps Glasgow for Edinburgh.
One said: "Passionate over @NetflixUK saying 'Glasgow, London' instead of 'Glasgow, Scotland' in #DeathTo2021 when talking about #COP26" followed by a video of a man shouting "Scotland".
Another commented: "Seeing Glasgow mentioned in the ‘death to 2021’ mockumentary made me feel like a wee proud mum"
A third added: "Currently watching #DeathTo2021. Out loud laughed at "COP26 opens in Glasgow, London"
Whilst a forth tweeted: "Watching #DeathTo2021 and this shit annoys me so much. Glasgow is in London?!? Glasgow is in a whole other country. Not hard to look up and get right. Just shows how little they know and care about Geography outside the US."
