Twitter reacts after UGA safety ejected for targeting versus Auburn

Georgia Bulldog special-teams player Otis Reese has been disqualified after committing a blindside block on special teams. The play was clearly targeting. Still, targeting calls are always controversial since they disqualify a player.

The ejection doesn’t help the Auburn Tigers too much since Reese is a back-up safety and primarily plays special teams. Georgia leads Auburn 7-0 after the second quarter ejection.

Targeting confirmed. Otis Reese disqualified.

Georgia ball now at the 25 instead of the 40.

They’re destroying college football. The blocker had his head down & lead with his shoulder, NOT targeting. SEC officials want mamby pamby football. Since the UGA player got ejected 4 targeting anyway should’ve led w/ his helmet & laid him out instead of lowering his shoulder

I would read a story about the UGA player who just got ejected for targeting. What does he do the rest of the game? Is there a TV in the locker room to watch the game? Does someone hang with him or is he in solitary confinement? Order a pizza?
