Michigan State Basketball needed to pull off a winning streak against a murderer’s row of adversaries if they wanted to even have a shot at the NCAA Tournament, and they have made a good dent in that goal with two straight wins against top-5 teams in the last three days.
The Spartans first beat No. 4 Illinois on Tuesday to extend their current winning streak to two games. Then, on Thursday, they managed to upset No. 5 Ohio State to earn their third straight win.
