Twitter has mixed reactions after Jets reveal new uniforms

The Jets released their new uniforms Thursday following a rebranding process that started in 2014.

There are three uniform sets in three different colors: Gotham Green, Spotlight White and Stealth Black. To reveal the new jerseys, the Jets trotted out Sam Darnold, Quincy Enunwa, Chris Herndon, Robby Anderson, Leonard Wiliams, Avery Williamson and Jamal Adams.

To introduce the new jerseys, Jets CEO Christopher Johnson said it was a new era of Jets football with a new coach and new uniforms. Johnson ended his speech with the Jets new motto: “Take Flight.”

“We believe these uniforms will appeal to fans of all ages and is one that both fans and players would be extremely proud to wear,” Johnson said in a statement. “I am extremely excited to usher in the next generation of the New York Jets.”

Darnold and Adams, the Jets’ bonafide leaders on both sides of the ball, each expressed excitement over the new jerseys, but they know the apparel won’t matter unless the Jets are winning games.

For now, however, the uniforms received plenty of mixed reactions from Jets Twitter. Take a look:
