Twitter has stopped working this evening for millions of users across the UK.
Social media platform Twitter has gone down this evening.
When users attempt to view the site, a big blue screen comes up with bold write letters saying 'something is technically wrong'.
Underneath is says bosses are working on fixing the issue.
The issue with the social media channel was first reported around 7:45pm.
It does not seem to be affecting users in other countries at this point.
The message in full on the Twitter website reads: "Thanks for noticing—we're going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon."
