Twitter demanded Kevin Bridges explain why Whatsapp and Facebook went down last night.

It comes after the social media giants crashed for around seven hours last night sparking chaos online.

The Scots funnyman took to Twitter promising to 'look into it' after being challenged by one furious user.

An account named @AtishayaB asked the legendary comic "Whatsapp not working why ?@kevinbridges86 @Facebook@instagram'

Bridges responded: "I’m looking into it mate.

"Apologies for any inconvenience."

The hilarious exchange got over 40k likes prompted other users to call on the Glasgow star to sort the issue.

Dean Moynes said: "Chop chop Kev. How long can it take to turn it off and on again?"

Mathew Warren said: "Poor from you to be honest.

"This needed fixing an hour ago. I’m having to hold actual conversation in the pub.

"People are seconds away from remembering how much they dislike me."

Mike Lumley said: "Sort it, will ya Kev - just took me 2 hours to get across town pushing photos of my dinner through all my mates letterboxes."

Matt Sprigs said: "Whilst you’re there can you see why my printer isn’t printing?"

Paul Dudga said: "Can u fix my boys iPad screen as well Kev mate?"
