As part of Twitch's initiative to introduce local subscription prices to its different regions, prices have been reduced for UK viewers.
A blog post from the popular streaming giant states that prices for UK customers will reduce from £4.99 to £3.99- a 20 per cent price drop.
Twitch previously explained that they believe the move will both increase affordability for the community and increase revenue for partners and affiliates.

The global program has been designed by Twitch to cover any shortfall in revenue streamers on the platform my experience otherwise.
Users will start to see the price change on the service within a week.
In any given month, over 850k people are now earning revenue from commerce or ads on Twitch's platform.
The company claims the total amount of revenue paid out to creators has doubled between 2019-2020.
The Twitch community watched over one trillion minutes of live content last year, with 13 million people streaming for the first time.
"We’re excited to announce that we’ll start rolling out local sub pricing to more regions across the world. We’ll first start with most of our communities in the Asia Pacific region within the next week," Twitch stated in a blog post.
"Our goal is to introduce this pricing update to all countries slated to get a price reduction within the next month. We will update the community on this blog and social media as we launch prices in new regions."
