Twister have launched new triple flavour ice lolly and fans are delighted

With the warmer weather sticking around - it’s the one thing we can appreciate about lockdown. Sitting outside on our lunch breaks, easy commute to the garden, if you’re lucky enough to have one and of course freezer for those all important ice lollies to cool down with.

When we venture down the freezer section in the supermarket, there’s always a plethora to choose from but the latest innovation from Twister has been causing a stir with fans of the original.

Twister launched the '3ster' back in March but we only seem to have just noticed it - along with the rest of the UK and you’ll be pleased to know it doesn’t disappoint the tastebuds.

The Twister 3star has three refreshing flavours combined together - vanilla, strawberry and mango. Available as a single stick for £1.10 (RRP) or multipack of five at £2.20 (RRP) and you can pick these up on your next essentials shopping trip to your nearest Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose. B&M and Asda are also stocking the tasty treat for £2, with the offer buy any two for £3 whilst stocks last.

See you in the queue?

They look just like the OG Twister, with that famous twirly appearance, which has been around since 1982. Someone who’s managed to get their hands on a box said they were "blown away by the taste."

"Together with the ice cream they mix together and make a really wonderful creamy flavour."

Followers were quick to comment with: "so ready for summer food."

Aren’t we all? BBQs, long summer evenings and a cheeky gin makes everything a bit better, right?

And Walls aren’t the only ones with new ice cream and ice lollies to hit the market.

Marks and Spencer’s have launched a low-calorie ice cream. Priced at £3 for one litre of creamy vanilla goodness, there are only 63 calories per serving or 496 for the whole tub.

They also created a Percy Pig ice cream - much to the delight of fans who love the jellied sweet. £3 for a 453g tub, the high street chain says the new frozen treat tastes just like its much-loved Percy Pigs - perfect for children and grownups alike. The ice cream boasts that popular Percy Pig flavour of raspberries and grapes, a ripple of fruity sauce and a soft chewy texture of strawberry marshmallow. We can already tell you're going to love it.

And Lotus Biscoff have launched an ice cream stuffed with brownies at Asda which sounds delightful. The 460ml tubs were recently spotted by food blogger Newfoodsuk, who posted an image of the mouth-watering treat along with the caption: "New!! @lotusbiscoffuk ice cream with Chocolate Brownies in it! Now at @asda."

Iceland have also launched frozen treats by Barratt exclusively into their supermarkets and online. Included in the range are Fruit Salad, Black Jack and Flump ice lollies and a Wham Ice Cream Tub.

There's also a Dip Dab ice lolly that comes with a satchet of sherbet for dipping - we reckon this one will sell out in no time.

All priced at £2.50, the ice creams are created with natural colourings and flavourings, so they make a great treat for the whole family.
