Twins-Tigers game postponed, will play doubleheader Thursday

MINNEAPOLIS _ The Twins-Tigers game has been postponed after heavy rains at Target Field.

There will be two games Thursday, at 1:10 p.m. and 7:10 p.m.

The Twins had two on and two out in the third inning when it began to rain so hard that umpires could not wait to let the inning play out. Within minutes, puddles formed in left field. A severe thunderstorm warning was issued and a flash flood warning.
