Two self-proclaimed "fake tanning Queens" have discovered a no-cost home remedy for removing the dreaded stains that leave over-indulgent tan fans with orange hands, feet and knees.
The Hondrou twins took to TikTok to share the "best hack ever" to ditch the unsightly tan stains, using only handy household items.
All it takes is a little salt and shampoo - and some scrubbing - to leave you tan-free, the Mirror reports.
But Jacqui and Victoria Hondrou, who boast 114,400 followers on the video-sharing platform, couldn't take all the credit - the idea originally came from one of their fans and they decided to put it to the test.
In the video, the twins get to work on their stained hands with salt and shampoo and, sure enough, the colour begins to disappear almost immediately, leaving them back with their original hue.
They explain: "OKAY if you’re a fake tanner STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND WATCH!!!
"Tune in because this is probably the best hack we’ve ever tried.
"Going on with our awesome fake tan hand routine. Get salt and shampoo, watch this.
"Just with how it rubs together I know it’s going to work brilliantly, better than whitening toothpaste."
They continued: "Look at that. I could literally take my whole fake tan off with this.
"It’s awesome. This is the best one yet."
"Wow," said one impressed user, while another added: "Omg this could actually save so much time."
A third hailed hailed the hack as a "life changer".
