Twins are 'exact same person', have same allergies and even had operation on same day

Identical twins Lyndsey and Louise Scott say they are the "exact same person" - and they have a remarkable amount of similarities.

The 23-year-olds, who have a "bond like no other", grew up sharing the same room, wear the same clothes, have the same allergies and eat the same food.

Up until the age of 18, the pair didn't spend more than 24 hours apart and would do everything together.

When Louise went to study English at the university of Liverpool in 2017, Lyndsey moved in to her sister's accommodation so they could be together.

But for the first time in 18 years, the pair had to spend more than a day apart when Louise went to study abroad in Kingston, Canada, in 2018 for four months.

Now the girls live and work together in Liverpool, Merseyside, and share the same taste in food, fashion and love to match outfits, and are both also gay.

Do you know of a closer pair of twins? Let us know in the comments...

Louise, a lifestyle content creator, said: "We didn't used to spend more than 24 hours apart. If one of us had a sleepover the other one would come or we both wouldn't go.

"We shared a room for 18 years. We're 99 per cent the same.

"We both love fashion, the same style, food and watch the same content. We love the idea of being twins."

Lyndsey, a lifestyle content creator, said: "It's fun and chaotic - it's a bond like no other. It's like having another brain."

The pair say they are so in tune they are both allergic to the same things – penicillin and parabens – and even had their tonsils removed on the same day.

Lyndsey said: "We're like the exact same person.

"We would always get tonsillitis at the same time. We went down for the operation to get them removed on the same day.

"We're allergic to the exact same things – when I was a baby I took penicillin and my head doubled in size so Louise has never been allowed to have it."

The girls now share a flat together in Liverpool, Merseyside, with Lyndsey's girlfriend Rosie, 25, an aspiring actor, while Louise's partner, Jenuelle, 21, who works in music management, is always around.

Louise said: "We need to get on with our partners.”

The pair grew up wearing identical clothes and say they got "embarrassed" about it as teens but now love to co-ordinate their outfits and even share make-up.

Louise said: "We tend to match, so we'll wear the same top and different pants."

Lyndsey added: "For 23 years of our lives we've always had the exact same haircut and hair colour except for when Louise went rogue and got rose gold."

The twins are so close they tell each other everything and even when they "bicker" they'll be back to normal seconds later.

Louise said: "It's another version of yourself. If one of us doesn't like a certain food the other one will know not to try it."

Lyndsey said: "If there is a brief moment where one of us doesn't like something that the other one likes, it will literally last for a month and then the other will convert and we'll both like the same food."

Louise added: "Lyndsey was adamant she didn't like jam on toast and I was adamant and said I know you'll like it you need to try it and she was adamant I'd like jalapeños.

"And we both like them now."

The pair look so alike people struggle to tell them apart and the twins say they will answer to each other's names.

Lyndsey said: "We'll answer to each other's name. It's like we're on auto.

"Most people try to learn the difference but it's hard so we'll just answer to both names."
