Twin girls, 11, reported missing from their home sparking search found 'safe and well'

Twin girls who were reported missing from their home, sparking a police appeal to the public, have been found safe and well by police.

Gracie and Millie Bennett, 11, were reported missing at around 8.30pm on Tuesday evening from their home in Mountsorrel, Leicestershire.

Police have today confirmed the pair were found safe and well this morning in the village.

Chief Inspector Siobhan Gorman said: "I'd like to place on record my thanks to everyone who shared our appeal and the local community for their help in locating both girls."

A Leicestershire Police spokesperson previously said: "Both their family and police are concerned for their welfare."
