Twilight 9 interview: Bubba Watson talks mental health struggles — ‘I didn’t want to write a golf book.’

After Twilight 9 officially joined Golfweek earlier this week, it’s time for our first interview — 12-time PGA Tour winner and two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson.

Watson sits down to talk about his recently released book “Up and Down: Victories and Struggles in the course of life.”

The Florida native battled mental demons for several years, and now he’s here to tell his story in hopes of shedding more light on the ever-growing problem of anxiety, depression, and all other mental health issues that plague our world today.

The world of sports is changing. Athletes are taking time away to better their mental state with the ultimate goal of eventually returning as the best versions of themselves.
