Twelfth of July Translink timetable released as holiday service implemented

Anyone planning on travelling around on July 12 should be aware of a number of Translink timetable changes.

The Metro/Glider and Ulsterbus/Goldliner will operate holiday timetables on both Monday, July 12 and Tuesday, July 13.

NI Railways will operate a Saturday schedule from Monday, July 12 to Saturday, July 17.

Maintenance will be carried out by Irish Rail on the train line between Dublin and Drogheda on Sunday, July 11.

Enterprise trains will operate from Belfast to Drogheda, with bus substitutions between Drogheda and Dublin in both directions.

Passengers are advised to check their journeys in advance using Translink’s Journey Planner or online.

Parades will go ahead this year, so extra time for journeys at busy times is something to consider.

It may be necessary to wait for the next service, Translink said.

The transport body continues to implement "significant safety measures" to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. This includes enhanced cleaning regimes, mandatory use of face coverings (unless exempt), hand hygiene points and use of contactless payments.

Details of the Twelfth of July parades in Belfast have been announced by the Orange Order.

There will be six parades in Belfast for friends, supporters and spectators to enjoy.
