Twelfth of July and Eleventh night 2021: Weather forecast for across Northern Ireland

Temperatures are set to remain high for the July bank holiday weekend, however, there is some rain expected.

UV and pollen levels will also be moderate, so make sure to wear sun cream and bring some tissues if you're planning to be out and about.

The weather for the weekend and the Twelfth itself will be a mixed bag of cloud, sunny intervals, and rain so it may be best to pack a raincoat just in case.

Here's what the Met Offic e is saying to expect.

Saturday, July 10

A mainly dry start with some bright or sunny intervals. A scattering of sharp showers will develop by the afternoon, while longer sunny spells are expected along the east coast. Maximum temperature 22 °C.

Sunday, July 11

Sunshine and scattered thundery showers with showers mainly inland. Starting off cloudy but sunny intervals by early evening. A 10% to 20% chance of rain between 4pm and 10pm, with a maximum temperature of 19 °C.

Monday, July 12

Starting off cloudy but changing to sunny intervals by late morning. Sunshine and scattered thundery showers, with showers mainly inland. 40% chance of rain in Belfast at 1pm and again at 7pm, with a maximum temperature of 20 °C.

Tuesday, July 13

Expected to be dry with sunny spells and feeling warm.
