Tweet about mother's conversation with son on busy bus to Dublin Airport made one Irish person living in UK 'homesick'

A tweet from an Irish person based in the UK garnered lots of attention over the weekend when the person said a certain conversation she heard on a Dublin Bus to the airport made her feel "homesick".

Dorothy Cotter, currently living in England, witnesses a rather bizarre incident between a mother, her son and a Dublin Bus driver which would only happen in Ireland.

She was upstairs on the bus and there were two "wild little boys" running up and down the stairs and down the back of the bus.

The Dublin mammy repeatedly shouts the little boy's name, 'Patrick' to which he replies "what?".

This goes on back and forth until eventually, the bus driver is forced to intervene leaving the whole bus in fits of laughter.

Dorothy said: "This happened on the bus to Dublin airport earlier. It’s the kind of stuff that makes me homesick. Love you Ireland, til the next time."
