Best TV shows on TV tonight

Queen of Oz, 9.30 pm, BBC One

Brash, rude and always in the headlines thanks to her outrageous gaffes, Princess Georgiana is a royal disaster-zone. Directed and written by Catherine Tate, who stars as Georgiana, this series sees the entitled British princess bundled off to Australia by her father, the King of England, who hatches a deal to make her monarch there.

But as she arrives Down Under with her entourage of lackeys, party girl Georgie is definitely not on board with any of that. Fun, energetic and with great performances from a talented cast, it’s like taking C4’s sitcom The Windsors and mixing it with Australian sunshine and a good dose of the Outback!

The Grand Tour: Eurocrash, Prime Video

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May head to Central Europe for their latest adventure as they take an epic 1,400-mile road trip from Gdańsk in Poland, through Slovakia and Hungary and on to Slovenia. It promises to be ‘a road trip nobody has ever thought of, in cars nobody would ever dream of’ and the trio prove that by getting behind the wheels of some Soviet-style Formula 1 vehicles.

Along the way they are attacked by deadly archers and find themselves recruiting the help of a very famous racing driver. Jeremy, Richard and James also take part in a spectacular Fast and Furious climax that tests their nerves and pushes them to their limits.

Celebrity Gogglebox, 10 pm, Channel 4

The celebrity version of the C4 staple returns this week (at a slightly later time than usual because of the England Euro qualifier earlier in the evening) as the regular Goggleboxers begin their summer break.

As usual, we don’t know for sure what they’ll be watching in advance but we’d guess it could include shows like Britain’s Got Talent, EastEnders and Coronation Street, The Greatest Auction and The Hit List – but if there were any Spandau Ballet songs, would Roman Kemp be able to guess dad Martin’s songs from the intros?!

The Girl Who Sails With Her Breath, 7.30 pm (times vary), BBC One

Natasha Lambert has cerebral palsy, which means she can’t walk unaided and needs constant support from her family. But the moment she set foot inside a boat, she felt free. Now this documentary in the Our Lives strand shows how, thanks to her dad Gary’s invention of pioneering technology allowing her to steer a boat with her breath, Natasha and her family were able to sail across the Atlantic from Gran Canaria to St Lucia. Natasha, Gary, her mum Amanda and sister Rachel faced a terrifying 12-hour storm on their journey but Natasha insists it has just inspired her to take on more challenges.
