Pride of Britain: A Windrush Special

9pm, ITV1

Suella Braverman may regard multiculturalism in Britain as a failure. But this documentary, celebrating 75 years since the Empire Windrush arrived at Tilbury Docks, tells a more positive story. Presented, with cheerful inevitability, by Trevor McDonald but also featuring Alesha Dixon, Judi Love and many more, it tells the story of a cultural revolution – an injection of energy into a staid era, courtesy of the innovators of calypso, ska and reggae. The various forms of racism encountered by immigrants is documented – one NHS worker remembers a white patient telling her to “get your Black hands off me” – but so is the resistance. Lovely. The Great Amazon Heist

10pm, Channel 4

Writer and film-maker Oobah Butler is something of a loose cannon. In his career to date, he’s set up the best ranking restaurant on TripAdvisor in his garden shed and blagged his way into Paris fashion week. Here, he attempts to infiltrate Amazon to assess conditions for workers. He then turns his attention to the company’s algorithm: can he get a fake product to No 1? PH

Soldier

9pm, BBC One

Yet more insight into the gruelling process that sees young people brought to the point where they’re willing to kill on behalf of a state. This week, the trainees are CS-gassed, fire machine guns and spend the night sheltering from the snow under a tarpaulin – and it’s hard not to pity them. Alexi Duggins

Interview with the Vampire

9pm, BBC Two

So much classier, and queerer, than other vampire shows, or indeed previous dramatisations of Anne Rice’s novel, this drama’s second episode sees the ethereal Louis (Jacob Anderson) recount his early days as a bloodsucker to wonderfully brusque journalist Daniel (Eric Bogosian). Jack Seale

Taskmaster

9pm, Channel 4

Sam Campbell hasn’t seemed like an intimidating figure up to now. But in this episode he gets inside Alex Horne’s head to amusing effect. Elsewhere, as we approach the halfway point of the series, Lucy Beaumont gets creative with a toilet roll. Great fun, as ever. PH

All Creatures Great and Small

9pm, Channel 5

The fourth series of this faithful reboot of the bucolic veterinary yarn continues, with the secret of its success its distinct lack of drama. This week, Mrs Pumphrey hosts a community tea party at which a small amount of gossipy muttering takes place. PH
