TV pundit picks out one special performer from Leeds United

Former Leeds United midfielder Michael Brown has revealed why he is a big fan of Kalvin Phillips.

The Whites academy graduate was his side's goalscoring hero in yesterday's 1-0 win over Birmingham City at Elland Road.

The midfielder netted the game's only goal on 65 minutes to earn his side a hard-fought three points which moved them up to second in the Championship table.

After collecting a Jack Harrison's pass, Phillips then kept his cool to fire past Lee Camp in the Birmingham goal, and Brown believes the 23-year-old has got "everything" in his locker.

"I am a big fan. What I like most about him is his versatility," Brown told Quest's EFL highlights show.

"He can drop in at central defence, he can play attacking midfield and he can be a holding midfielder too.

"For such a young player I do really like him and he's got everything."

Before Brown added: "Bielsa made the change at half-time and you start questioning his tactics. It was tight, but brilliant at the end to see those scenes."
