TV presenter collapses during live broadcast as colleagues rush to aid

A TV presenter collapsed during a live broadcast and the whole incident was captured on camera.

Colombian show Lo Sé Todo was being presented by Elianis Garrido, when she suddenly fell to the ground and it wasn't long before her co-stars realised something was wrong and crews rushed over to help the 35-year-old.

In the footage of the moment, Elianis can be seen fidgeting on her stool while on air with co-presenter Ariel Osorio.

Not long after, it became evident that Elianis was visibly uncomfortable as she turned away from the cameras while having her hands placed around her mouth, writes The Mirror.

And just seconds later, she fell off her chair after flopping over.

The studio team soon realised something was wrong and rushed onto the set to come to help her.

Her co-host Osorio looked around and then jumped up to his feet as he realised that Elianis was unwell.

He then asked to cut to an ad break as he checked on his co-star.

In the clip, crew can then be seen picking Elianis up before moving her to another part of the set as one in particular fanned her to keep her cool.

As the presenter was taken away for treatment, Osorio told viewers that she had suffered from "respiratory problems".

He then went on to address Elianis' mother directly, saying: "Everything is fine, Eli is perfect. She is finishing up some security protocols and she is fine, don’t worry. She will call you soon, we will tell you what is happening with Eli."

And days after the incident, Elianis took to her own social media to tell her 6.2million Instagram followers that she had made a full recovery and to thank them for their support.
