TV presenter Ben Hillman has told how he carries his grandparents’ ashes around with him.
Ben, host of Channel 4 show A Place in the Sun, explained: “We lost my nan in 2007. We were very close. In films, you see urns full of ashes on fireplaces and it feels weird.
“It’s not until my nan passed away that I got it. It was almost warming to have her around.
“She gets wrapped up and taken out for Christmas along with my grandad, who’s now passed.
"She came to my wedding in 2011... dressed up with sparkly wrapping paper and even a bow on her.”
Ben has presented the Channel 4 show since 2015.
It features couples trying find a “perfect property” on the market, often abroad.
