TV on DVD: 'The Invaders'; 'Jericho'

THE INVADERS: COMPLETE SERIES. TV's first adult sci-fi series treatment of space aliens among us (ABC/1967), starring Roy Thinnes as the wanderer trying to warn a world that won't believe him. (Producer Quinn Martin did similar odyssey "The Fugitive.") Two-season run had sharp directors like Joseph Sargent, and endlessly great guests: Kevin McCarthy, Suzanne Pleshette, Jack Lord, Michael Rennie, Anne Francis, Gene Hackman. Extras retained from previous season sets include interviews, commentaries, Thinnes episode intros. List price $40 for 43 episodes (12 discs in plastic Epik Pak), out this week from CBS.
