TV on DVD: 'Six,' 'Star Trek: Voyager'

SIX: Acclaimed actor Walton Goggins scores again, heading this powerhouse History drama tracking both the field action and family lives of SEAL Team Six operatives. Making them resonate are series creators Bill Broyles ("China Beach") and his son David, a special-ops veteran. Eight episodes lead to last week's shocking cliffhanger _ and yes, the show is renewed for a second season; list price $25 DVD/$30 Blu-ray+digital, out from Lionsgate.

STAR TREK: VOYAGER: COMPLETE SERIES: Kate Mulgrew's captaincy finally gets "normal" packaging (after fans hated the 2004 season sets' awkward two-piece sleeve over hard-plastic book pages). Now, an embossed cardboard slipcase holds it all together: two thick "Epik Pak" clear-plastic cases for seasons 1-3 and 4-6, plus thinner season 7 case, with existing on-disc extras retained; $145 DVD for 47 discs, CBS.

DVD calendar:

APRIL 4: "Sports Detectives" (Smithsonian)

APRIL 11: "Mars" (NatGeo)

MAY 30: "Speed Racer" complete/Blu-ray ('60s animation)
