TV on DVD: 'Dear White People'; 'Rock and Roll Hall of Fame: In Concert'

'DEAR WHITE PEOPLE.' Life is less than ``post-racial'' at a fictional Ivy League university where students wrestle with questions of identity. Acclaimed Netflix satire was spun out of the same-named film by Justin Simien (and showrunner Yvette Lee Bowser), with Logan Browning at its core as a college radio host. Extras include Simien's commentary on the season premiere/finale, plus featurettes on the characters and episode director Barry Jenkins (``Moonlight''). Netflix debuted the show's post-Trump ``Vol. 2'' on Friday. List price $30, out this week from Lionsgate.

'ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME: IN CONCERT.' Induction speeches/performances from 2014-2017 include Ringo Starr with Paul McCartney, E Street Band with Bruce Springsteen, Cat Stevens, Bill Withers, Joan Baez, Chicago, Yes, Journey, Nirvana, Green Day, Pearl Jam, though not all songs are here. Missing completely are Kiss, Hall & Oates and Steve Miller. With booklet detailing musicians/songs. $35 DVD/$40 Blu-ray, Time Life.
