Good Morning Britain hosts Ranvir Singh and Susanna Reid were left fuming at the script for Wednesday's show.
The TV presenters were discussing their guests at the beginning of the edition when they commented on the script.
Wednesday's instalment saw Ranvir Singh reunited with Craig Revel Horwood, reports Birmingham Live.
Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig was on the BBC One talent show's panel when Ranvir performed last year and she was partnered with Strictly pro Giovanni Pernice for the series.
But picking up a comment in the script, Ranvir said: "Did he call me dreadful Susanna? Did he?"
"No he did not," said Susanna to her co host.
She then said: "I do not know who wrote that. That is very mischievous.
"Because actually, I think what he said was you were hard done by the jive. But your ballroom dancing was a dream and your jive was full of fun and verve."
"But you're saying that aren't you? He never said that, did he?" asked Ranvir.
Susanna said: "You were a pure dream. Well, let's..."

"I mean, I have not spoken to him, so that should be fun," said Ranvir.
"I don't think he ever called you dreadful," said Susanna, adding: "He has praised you to the hilt."
"Well, we are glad to have him on the show anyway..." Ranvir then said.
She added: "Good morning, good morning, good morning."
GMB continues to air each weekday from 6am on ITV1 with episodes also available via the ITV Hub.
