TV decision made for Derby County vs Nottingham Forest Championship clash

Nottingham Forest's Championship clash with Derby County next month has been chosen for television coverage by Sky Sports.

The April 4 clash at Pride Park had already been brought forward to 1pm on the advice of police and given it is now outside the 3pm blackout parameters enforced by the Football Association it can now be screened on television.

The kick-off time has also been moved to 12.30pm.

Forest have won the last four meetings between the two sides, but haven't won at Pride Park since January 2015 when a late Ben Osborn strike secured a famous win for Stuart Pearce's side.

Sabri Lamouchi's side beat the Rams 1-0 in the Championship thanks to a Lewis Grabban strike back in November.

The Reds also dumped Phillip Cocu's side out of the Carabao Cup, winning 3-0 at the City Ground in August.

Forest, who are challenging for promotion, will be in the middle of a crucial period of fixtures when they make the short journey down the A52.

The promotion chasers are eight points off Leeds in second with ten games remaining and are only six clear of Bristol City in seventh place.

By the time they play the Rams they will have hosted Millwall, Huddersfield and the Robins and have a date with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough coming up.

After the Pride Park clash they host Fulham, Swansea and Stoke City with away trips to Preston North End and Barnsley.

The last five editions of this fixture have been chosen for television coverage by Sky Sports, with the East Midlands derby a regular feature on TV.

Forest's 3-0 win earlier this season was, surprisingly, not on television.
