TV chef Catherine Fulvio has told of her surprise after she garnered American “superfans” when she landed a show on an American TV network.
The food guru revealed American fans have even flown from the States and driven from Dublin Airport to her farm in Ballyknocken House in Glenealy in Wicklow.
Catherine features on American TV network, recipe.tv, and she admits the slot happened “by accident” for her.

She said: “It happened for me by accident.
“I now make a phenomenal amount of TV shows for the network. Earlier, we made two new series, Catherine’s Farmhouse Kitchens and Baking at Ballyknocken and in a few weeks I start filming the Christmas show.
“So now I have something I never anticipated: superfans in the USA, some of whom have driven here to the farm direct from Dublin Airport,” she told the RTE Guide.
In 2019, Catherine was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award, for her six-part series A Taste of Ireland, which was screened on the US channel, Recipe.TV.
And despite missing out on the award, Catherine’s star continues to rise.
Next Spring, she will travel to LA to plan a new series for recipe.tv, focusing on Irish produce and producers.
