An embarrassing tweet by Challenge TV has left fans calling for it to be removed.
The freeview channel that shows repeats of gameshows sent out a happy birthday message to Supermarket Sweep presenter Dale Winton.
While many thought it was a nice gesture, some took issue with the tweet telling him to "have a good one", even though he sadly passed away in April 2018.
The tweet included a picture of the late National Lottery host on his iconic gameshow.
Many responded to the tweet with 'awkward' gifs and images that said 'delete'.
One said: "When scheduled tweets go bad."
Another agreed, saying: "More likely an automatic tweet someone forgot to cancel."
Another replied: "Have a good one” when he’s dead!? Poor wording."
A third simply replied: "Delete this."
And there were also those to commented tributes, one said: "Bless Lovely Dale, may he rest in peace. a true legend."
Dale Winton passed away on April, 18, 2018 at the age of 62 at his home in North London.
The coroner concluded that he died of natural causes.
A spokesperson for Challenge TV said: "We’re sorry for any offence caused by the post on Challenge TV’s Twitter page. This was published in error and was deleted shortly after being tweeted."
