Tutankhamun exhibition is coming to the UK for final time - here's how to get tickets

The largest collection of King Tutankhamun's treasures to travel out of Egypt will head to the UK for a final time.

London's Saatchi Gallery will host the exhibition from November 2, 2019 until May 3 in 2020.

It will commemorate the centenary of the discovery that captivated the world when his tomb was unearthed.

British explorer Howard Carter and financier Lord Carnarvon found the tomb in 1922 which resulted in public fascination surrounding the boy king.

It's the only Ancient Egyptian royal tomb ever found intact and the worldwide interest has continued for decades - despite the pharaohs that succeeded him attempting to erase him from history.

Previous exhibitions in 1972 and 2007 - which contained 55 items from the tomb - drew in record crowds with more than one million visitors in London.

The upcoming 'Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh' tour features 150 original artifacts, with 60 on their first journey outside Egypt, before returning to Cairo for permanent display.
