Parbhudheva’s next project staring Tamannaah and Sonu Sood , Tutak Tutak Tuutiya, is gearing up to tap major markets in the country: The film has been simultaneously been shot in three different languages - Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
A source from the sets revealed that the actors gave each shot three times for three different languages. Normally, films are shot in one language and dubbed for other languages to expand its reach. Incidentally, Prabhudheva was following filmmaker Mani Ratnam who has shot films like Yuva and Oscar nominated Kon-Tiki in different languages.
The Telugu, Tamil and Hindi versions of Tutak Tutak Tutiyawill release on the same day.
“I believe language should not be barrier when it comes to showcasing good cinema. Tutak Tutak Tutiya is an out an out commercial film and we wanted it to cater to the larger set of audiences. Hence, we decided to shoot the film in three different languages that is Tamil, Telugu and Hindi,” said actor Sonu Sood, who turns producer with the film.
Prabhudheva added, “This is the first time that film is not only releasing in three languages but is also shot in three different languages - Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. We used to shoot in all three languages at the same time without any cut. I used to tell my director keep the cameras rolling and I used to come give my shot in Telugu then run again and give my shot in Tamil and then run again and give my shot in Hindi. It was a very different and a funny experience.”
Tutak Tutak Tutiya releases on October 7.
