Turns out Vikings fans won’t be able to see Antonio Brown in Week 3

When looking at the Vikings schedule heading into the 2019 season, one thing that popped out was the Raiders visiting the Vikings in Week 3 at U.S. Bank Stadium.

While the Raiders weren’t supposed to be particularly good, they acquired Antonio Brown in the offseason. Seeing Brown go up against Xavier Rhodes would be a treat for fans.

Apologies to any fan who bought tickets to that game with the hopes of seeing Brown.

On Saturday, after weeks of all the drama in the world and frostbitten feet, the Raiders released the seven-time Pro Bowler.

Will Brown sign somewhere else? Knowing what we know about the NFL, probably.

If it’s the Ealges (probably not), Redskins (actually, maybe?), Broncos (no), Lions (no), Packers (wouldn’t be that crazy) or Bears (no), the Vikings will not be seeing Brown in Minneapolis this season.

It will be interesting to see where Brown ends up, and what he gets for compensation.

I’m not sure if I’ve seen someone hurt their reputation more in a short amount of time than Brown has.
