TV5MONDE is the international French-language TV channel that offers UK viewers an impressive mix of films, drama, documentaries, live news, travel, cuisine, children's TV, sport and more – every week. All films, drama and entertainment programmes now have English subtitles. To access subtitles via Sky, press the Help button or go via the menu (you can also switch between French and English subtitles). Virgin viewers should press the blue button from the on-screen menu. This spring, viewers can enjoy the popular police/crime drama series Un Flic – showing Fridays at 8pm. There's also an Yves Robert cinema retrospective featuring award-winning family films based on Marcel Pagnol's Souvenirs d'Enfance (Childhood Memories), La Gloire de Mon Père (My Father's Glory) and Le Château de Ma Mère (My Mother's Castle), showing throughout April. In May, TV5MONDE heads to Cannes with programmes and films specially selected to showcase past award-winners.
