Turkish media claim Rangers have Osayi-Samuel bid 'turned down' by Fenerbahce

Rangers have seen an official bid for Fenerbahce's Bright Osayi-Samuel rejected, according to reports emanating from the Turkish media this evening.

The 23-year-old Nigerian midfielder was signed by the Istanbul giants after an impressive spell with QPR in the English Championship, and initially signed a four-year deal with the Istanbul giants during the most recent January transfer window.

However, it seems Osayi-Samuel might not be enjoying himself in the Turkish Super Lig with Turkish media outlet Fotospor claiming he's keen to return to the UK - with both halves of Glasgow's Old Firm previously credited with an interest.

And now Megasports claim that a €3million bid from Rangers has been turned down over this weekend, with the Istanbul giants holding out for €4million before agreeing to let the player return to British football.

In his last full season under Mark Warburton 's side at Loftus Road, Osayi-Samuel tucked away five goals and eight assists and proved to be a very popular player among Rs fans

However, he's failed to live up to expectations at Fener, with not a single goal or assist to his name in 15 league outings with his new employers.
