More than two years on from the original outbreak of COVID-19, it remains necessary to fully brief yourself on the various rules still in place in certain parts of the world. With Turkey often a popular tourist destination for British holidaymakers, the country has updated its Coronavirus entry requirements.
As of 1 June, all Covid restrictions in Turkey have been lifted. Any previous requirements upon entering the country have now been removed from the foreign travel advice section of the Gov.uk website.
There is no longer a requirement to provide evidence of vaccinations or negative PCR tests. The entry requirements are now the same for all people visiting Turkey for the summer holidays, regardless of their COVID-19 vaccination status.

With the removal of these restrictions, the rules for unvaccinated people who had COVID-19 in the last six months are also no longer applicable. Further entry requirements for people visiting Turkey are outlined on the Government website, and include sections on passport validity and visas.
Passports should be valid for at least six months from the date of arrival, with a full blank page for both entry and exit stamps. Brits travelling to Turkey for tourist or business reasons are able to visit without a visa for stays up to 90 days in a 180-day period.
Before travelling, people staying for more than 90 days should apply for a longer stay visa, or alternatively get a residence permit from authorities in Turkey ahead of the 90-day period concluding. All the relevant entry requirements can be read here.
