The draw for the Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup first and second round has been made with Edinburgh City, Hearts Colts and Hibs Colts all learning theor opponents.
The SPFL announced before the draw that one Scottish institution would be taking over sponsorship of the competition from another.
With Irn Bru’s sponsorship deal at an end, Tunnocks Caramel Wafer will now be the competition’s primary sponsor.
Hearts Colts have been paired with League Two side Albion Rovers in the draw, with the tie to be played at Cliftonhill on 6 or 7 of August.
Hibs Colts team were handed a home draw at Elgin City, who play the Hibees’ first team in the Betfred Cup group stages.
Edinburgh City reached the semi-finals of last year’s competition, losing narrowly on penalties to Welsh side Connah’s Quay Nomads.
James McDonaugh’s side entered at the second round stage this year, and will face League Two rivals Stenhousemuir at Ochilvew on 13 or 14 August.
