Tunnel brawl breaks out between Dublin and Mayo players at half-time of All-Ireland final

A number of Dublin and Mayo players were involved in a tunnel melee as the teams headed for the half-time break in the All-Ireland final.

The Dubs lead 2-6 to 0-10 at half-time after a high-octane first half and tensions between the teams boiled over in the tunnel as they headed for the Croke Park dressing rooms.

Hands were raised as things became very heated between the old rivals after an entertaining 35 minutes of football.

The Dubs weren't tested in their run to the final as they strolled through the Leinster Championship and hammered Cavan in the semi-final, which led many to predict an easy win for Dessie Farrell's men tonight.

But their old adversaries haven't read the script so far and TV viewers are enjoying the game at a near-empty Croke Park.

James Horan's Connacht champions have notched more scores than the team chasing six-in-a-row but crucially Dublin have palmed to the net twice for goals. Dean Rock and Con O'Callaghan were the goal-scorers for the Dubs after flowing team moves.
