Tunisian Ministry of Health announced adding France, Belgium, and Spain to the green list, which highlights countries that successfully contained the new coronavirus pandemic. These three countries were on the orange list when Tunisia first announced the classification amid the COVID-19 developments.
Habib Ghedira, a member of the Tunisian state committee to counter the virus, said that the authorities have classified countries with a color code according to the spread level of the pandemic (green, orange, and red).
Meanwhile, several public health institutions in Sfax halted their services due to protests held by staff given that their social and vocational demands continue to be neglected.
The protesters demand the release of three colleagues who were arrested on the backdrop of a lawsuit filed by an MP from the Dignity Coalition accusing them of physical and verbal assault. The protest lasted for three hours before work was resumed later.
